Jul 14, 2008. #3. As a previous owner of both the 5th and 6th gen at the same time, this is my opinion on the matter. This tends to tick off a few VFR owners. The 5th gen has better headlights and a better engine. The 6th gen has better handling and optional factory hard saddle bags (the main reason I kept the sixth gen).

Location: Kihei, Maui, Hawaii. Map. What you should be setting first is rider sag. This is how much the Suspension travels when you and your gear clime aboard the bike. On the VFR800 the rear sag should be about 32 mm and the same for the front as well. This is about 1 1/4 inches. You will need two people to do this.
